Whitney Stucki

Whitney was born and raised in Davis County, Utah.  Her love of dance began at the age of 4 with Virginia Tanner Dance at the University of Utah.  At 9yrs old her family moved to Centerville which was a big change!  There she met some amazing friends who introduced her to clogging.  It was not long after, she joined Shaw Dance Studios.
There she learned many types of dancing to include tap, jazz, ballet, and clogging.  In 1999 she continued her love of dance and auditioned for the Salt City Cloggers dance team.  That’s when dance became her life.  She was always traveling to dance camps and competitions.  A couple of her favorite places to perform were Lagoon and Southern Utah’s Tuachan Amphitheater.  She danced anywhere and everywhere.  Whether it was at a competition or down the aisles of the grocery store.
In 2002 she was awarded the Salt City Clogger of the year award and got the opportunity to be an assistant teacher in the studio. Later on she advanced in jazz and joined the Senior Competition Team.  Whitney continued dancing with Shaw Dance until she graduated high school.
Since then she married her sweetheart and has been a busy mom of 3 kids.  She never lost her love of dance and hoped one day she would get the opportunity to dance and teach again.  She is beyond grateful for Studio B!  She’s loved watching her little girl grow to love dance and now has the opportunity to teach everything she has learned to others through her life of dance.

Lyndsey
Holmstead

Lyndsey's love affair with dance began at the young age of 3 when she danced as a Christmas present with a fluffy, white tutu that had red and green stripes. She loved dancing so much that she continued to dance and for the next 5 years, she learned the basic techniques of ballet, jazz, tap, and tumbling. When she was 8 years old, her family decided to move to Logandale and it was here that Lyndsey joined Miss Corrine's Muddy River Cloggers and learned the art of clogging. She took clogging classes from Miss Corrine for the next 8 years--performing at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo, winter and spring recitals, and a few competitions at Lagoon. She then danced with the MVHS Pirate Motion Team for her junior year of high school; deepening her love for jazz as well as learning the styles of contemporary and lyrical. It was at BYU-Idaho that she found her love for country dancing--swing and line dance--as well as hip hop.

While she still loves to dance, she has also found the joy and fulfillment of passing on her knowledge and passion of dance to others. She has taught Zumba for about 5 years both in Las Vegas and Logandale. She taught Hip Hop with DDA in Overton for about 1 year and now has the exciting opportunity to teach Hip Hop for Studio B Dance Academy. She is excited to work with the students of Studio B and can't wait to instill her passion for not only Hip Hop but dance as a whole in them as well as help them become better dancers on their dance journey.
